Chicken Serum is specifically designed to test for cytotoxicity and to detect nutritional deficiencies, morphological abnormalities, or cytotoxicity in control cultures.

Chicken serum is commonly used as an additive for cell growth and has a variety of functions and uses. It is rich in macro-molecular protein and low-molecular weight nutrients, and serves as an additional source of amino acids, carbohydrates and vitamins.It can improve the buffer capacity of the medium. It can combine or neutralize toxic ingredients. It can reduce cellular oxidative stress and reduce apoptosis.  It also provides growth-promoting factors that help cells adapt to the culture environment.

【Use Methods】

After the Chicken Serum is removed from the frozen area (do not thaw the serum from -20 °C to 37 °C directly, as the temperature change is too large, which may cause protein coagulation and precipitate) . You need melt it in 2 ° C ~ 8 °C, shake it gently and evenly intermittently during thawing, and then repackage it or use it directly. The completely dissolved chicken serum of Yunhai biotechnology was taken out from 4 °C and mixed with basic culture medium in the required proportion (5% -20%) to form complete culture medium. It was suggested that the chicken serum should be stored in 4 °C refrigerator and used up in 1-2 weeks.

It should be stored in -10 °C ~ -20 °C , and avoid repeating freeze and thaw.
